The four terms in this group decide whether a print comes out crisp or soft. They matter most when printing a personal photograph or an image made with an AI generator, and less when buying a finished piece from the catalogue, where the file is already prepared for the largest size offered.
These are the terms that appear at the installation stage. The most useful thing to know in this group is that the fixing is chosen by the wall and not by the artwork, and that most failures come from the wrong fixing rather than from the material itself. Full hanging guide → guide.
Sizes are always written width by height in centimetres, so 100x150 cm is a vertical piece and 150x100 is horizontal. Our catalogue runs from 20x30 cm to 150x200 cm, and in squares from 30x30 to 150x150 cm, with custom sizes on request. All sizes and prices → guide.
The last four terms are the ones you meet on the product page and at checkout. Two of them concern price and time, and two concern the tools available to you before deciding. It is worth understanding the legal meaning of a made-to-order item in particular before pressing the payment button.
Tempered glass has been heat treated - heated and rapidly cooled - which raises its strength and changes how it breaks. It crumbles into relatively small, blunt granules rather than large sharp shards. That is why it is used in shower doors, balconies and car windows, and in wall art.
Canvas fabric stretched over a wooden frame, with the print continuing around the sides instead of stopping at the front edge. The result looks complete from every angle and needs no additional framing. All our canvases come with this finish and with hanging hardware fitted on the back.
100 dpi is the minimum for wall art, and 150 dpi keeps edges clean even from close range. Viewing distance grows with size, so 100 dpi is more acceptable on a 100x150 cm piece than on a 30x45 cm piece seen from a single metre away.
A triptych, or set of three, is one work divided into three panels hung in sequence with a consistent 5 to 8 cm gap. A diptych, or pair, is two pieces that complete each other and hang together - for example on either side of a bed or a window.
Two angled rails that lock into each other - one screwed to the wall, the other fixed to the back of the piece. They spread the weight along the wall and hold the artwork flat so it cannot shift. This is the recommended solution from 100x150 cm upward.
The item is produced only after you order it, rather than taken from existing stock. That is why delivery takes up to 18 days, and why the order cannot be cancelled once placed, under Israeli consumer law section 14C(d)(4). Confirm size and material before paying.
